Shopify Add To Cart is designed to present the Product Add To Cart button for any item. This element is a must-have for any product listed on a page. When visitors click this button, it automatically adds a product to their cart.

- Step 1: Click on the 2nd icon in the Element Catalog which is the Add Shopify element function
- Step 2: Click on the Product Add To Cart element in the dropdown menu
- Step 3: Drag and drop the element into the page editor and then start using it.
This element comes with three common variations, but we will continue to add more variations to help you save time.
Note that you can search for this element by using the search function instead of finding it in the sidebar.
The Product Add To Cart element comes with plenty of parameters allowing you to fine-tune content appearance for the best possible conversion rate.
When you drag and drop the Product Add To Cart element into the editor page, there are 2 choices for the Product Source option for you to choose from such as:
- Custom Product
Note that if you are in the Product Page and use the Product Price element, then you can choose the Product Source option. However, if you are in a Regular Page, this function is not available!
If you choose Auto, the product assigned for this product page will be displayed in the page editor. The Auto option is set default when you use the Product Price element.
Select the element in the layout to see its parameters.

There are 4 options of State Styling in Styling tab: Normal state, Mouse over state, Active/Selected state, and Disabled state.

The Add to Cart allows shoppers to save their items to continue shopping and finally complete the checkout process after choosing all their necessary things.
Cart means shopping basket, where shoppers can keep their items, but do not purchase yet (‘run out of stock’ items are possible); here they can modify or remove the items. Order is the next step of ‘Cart’ after the shopper converted, this is when the shipping and delivery information is given, along with payment.
Add to Cart Rate is the percentage of shoppers with at least one item in their cart per session.
