1. About Shopify App Block Element
1.1. What Is Shopify App Block Element?
With the Shopify App Block Element, you can add app blocks from the apps you’re using directly to your PageFly sections. This means you can easily add even more content to your PageFly sections using the apps you already have.
- This element can only be added and customized in the Section editor.
- If you use a saved section containing this element on an editor page, you can see it in the editor page as well.
- This element can be added only once per saved section.
1.2. Access The App Block Element
- Step 1: Access Sections editor
- Step 2: Click on the 3rd icon in the Element Catalog which is the Add Shopify element function
- Step 3: Click on the App Block element in the dropdown menu
- Step 4: Drag and drop the element into the section editor and then start using it.
1.3. App Block Variations
App Block element comes with 1 variation which is App block.
2. App Block Element Configuration
The main settings for the App Block element are configured within the app you want to use, but PageFly still provides some additional options.
In the General tab, you can adjust the Visibility, Attributes, and Animation of the element. For more details on these settings, refer to the General article.
3. How To Use App Block Element In Theme Editor
To ensure the App Block element functions correctly, you’ll need to add an app block to your PageFly saved section. To learn more about PageFly saved sections, click here.
Once you’ve added a saved section to the Theme editor, follow these steps to complete the setup for the App Block element:
Step 1: Click The App Block Button
Step 2: Search For The App You Want To Add
Easily search for the app or element you want to add using the search bar, or scroll down to find it.
Step 3: Select The App You Want To Add
In this example, we’ll add the Star Rating app from Trust Reviews. For more information about the TrustReview app, click here.
Step 4: Click Save
