In Page editor, follow these steps to access the Vimeo Video element:
Step 1: Click on the Elements icon
Step 2: Click on the Vimeo element in the dropdown menu
Step 3: Drag and drop the element you want into the page editor and then start using it.
This element comes with plenty of different parameters allowing you to fine-tune content appearance reaching the best possible conversion rate.
Select the Vimeo Video element to see its parameters.
Vimeo Video URL: The full URL of your Vimeo video.
Show Author’s Avatar: Show / Hide video author’s avatar.
Show Author’s Name: Show / Hide video author’s name.
Show Title: Show / Hide video title.
Enable Loop: Video plays constantly non-stop in a loop.
Enable AutoPlay:
Turn on/off the autoplay feature. Please keep in mind that the autoplay function might not work in case:
- If the user configured his browser to prevent that action or parameter “Mute Video” from being turned off.
- If the users use the iPhone with Low Power Mode and access your website by Safari browser, the Enable Autoplay feature will be not activated.
Mute Video: Turn on/off the video’s sound.
Content loading: Choose the loading type for videos in the live preview.
There are 2 options:
- Lazy Loading: Videos load only when they enter the user's viewport, reducing initial page load time and conserving bandwidth.
- Standard: Videos load immediately, which may provide a smoother experience for users with fast internet connections.
Display Ratio: Select the video ratio display 4:3 or 16:9.
Overloading a webpage with too many embedded videos can slow down loading times and overwhelm visitors. It's essential to strike a balance between textual and visual content to ensure a seamless browsing experience. Avoid using the Vimeo Video Element excessively, especially if the videos are lengthy or redundant.
Avoid adding unrelated or off-topic videos that might distract or disengage visitors since it can confuse visitors and dilute your brand message. Ensuring that any videos you incorporate using the Vimeo Video Element align with your website's overall theme, objectives, and target audience is crucial.
