Universal Elements allows conversion between PageFly elements (static data) and Shopify elements (dynamic data), like turning a Heading into a Product Title with just a few clicks.
Here are the key Benefits of Universal Elements:

Below are the Universal Elements that can be converted from PageFly elements to Shopify elements and vice versa.
● Gen 2 Editor: Your store must be using the Gen 2 Editor to access Universal Elements. This feature is not available in legacy editor versions.
● PAYG Pricing Plan: Your store must be subscribed to the Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) pricing plan to access Universal Elements.
Follow these steps to set up and run an effective A/B test:
Step 1: Start with any convertible element
Drag and drop an Element onto your canvas
You can use any of the available elements that support conversion
Step 2: Access the conversion options
From the sidebar, navigate to the General tab
Find the Type Dropdown menu
Step 3: Select your target element
Click on the dropdown menu to see available conversion options
Select the target element type you want to convert to (e.g., from Heading to Product Title)
Step 4: Edit your converted element
Your element will now function as the new type you selected
Continue editing the newly converted element as you normally would
All the appropriate settings for that specific element type will be available

1. Do the settings in the General and Styling tabs behave differently for Universal Elements?
No. When you convert to another element type, its settings will automatically match those of that specific element as they currently do. You'll have access to all the typical settings and options for whatever element type you convert to.
2. Is Universal Element an AI feature?
No, Universal Element is not an AI feature. However, it works perfectly with MagicFly - the AI feature that converts an image into an editable design on PageFly. You can use Universal Elements to further enhance designs created with MagicFly by converting static elements to dynamic Shopify elements.
3. Which elements can be converted into others?
Universal Elements supports conversion between various element types. For example, you can try converting between element types such as Headings, Product Titles, Collection Titles, and other compatible elements. The conversion options will be visible in the Type Dropdown menu for each compatible element.
