Summary: This document presents a compilation of frequently asked questions (FAQs) concerning the PageFly elements, which have been gathered from user inquiries.
These questions address various aspects of the elements’ functionalities and are intended to provide a comprehensive resource for those seeking to learn more about PageFly.
The FAQs presented in this article will include two types of answer: one using Legacy Editor and one using Gen 2 Editor. Their differences are outlined as follows:
Legacy Editor: Editor that has row-column structure.
Gen 2 Editor : Editor that doesn’t have row-column structure. It allows adding elements directly on PageFly pages and more flexible customized layout by Flex blocks.
Important Note: Gen 2 Layout will be available exclusively for Pay-as-you-go pricing model ().
To add collapsible rows in PageFly, you can use our accordion element.
Gen 2 Editor
You can create a flex section, add a background image and some text overlay.
Step 1: Select Element > PageFly Tab > Layout
Step 2: Select Bank section, drag & drop onto the canvas
Step 3: In Styling tab, select background image
Step 4: Adjust height of flex section to best match background image
Step 5: Select Element > PageFly Tab > Heading
Step 6: Select desired heading variant, drag & drop onto the canvas
Or you can use section templates for faster and more convenient editing.
Step 1: In Page Content, click “Add section” > select “Templates”
Step 2: Choose your desired template and click “Select”
Legacy Editor
You can create a one-column section and add a background image and some text overlay.
Step 1: Select Element > PageFly Tab > Layout
Step 2: Select one-column layout, drag & drop onto the canvas
Step 3: In styling tab, select background image
Step 4: Adjust padding to best match the background image
Step 5: Select Element > PageFly Tab > Heading
Step 6: Select desired heading variant, drag & drop onto the canvas
Or you can use section templates for faster and more convenient editing.
Step 1: In Page Content, click “Add section” > select “Templates”
Step 2: Choose your desired template and click “Select”
To add product variants in PageFly, you can use the Product variant element.
To add an add-to-cart button in PageFly, you can simply use the Product add to cart element.
To add content list items in PageFly, you can use the Content List element. The number of items in a Content list is unlimited.
Yes, you can integrate third-party apps from the Shopify App Store to enhance functionality and design elements of your store. They can be found in the Third party elements section.
