#### How To Downgrade

**From Paid Subscription To Free Subscription**

To downgrade to a FREE plan, you need to UNPUBLISH your pages/ sections until 1, which is the number of published slots available on the PageFly free plan.

After you unpublish your pages or sections:

* You can still edit them and use all of the features and resources
* You are allowed to have 1 published page/ section at a time.

You can compare the FREE plan with the PAID plans from PageFly pricing plan.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important**: Once you downgrade to a Free plan, there's no other way to publish more than 1 page or section except for upgrading to a paid plan.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: After downgrading, if you switch into a higher plan, its plan benefits still be performed fully as normal.
{% endhint %}

**From higher paid subscription to lower paid subscription**

To downgrade to a lower-paid plan, you need to UNPUBLISH your pages/ sections to the number of slots that your selected plan allows to publish.

For example, if you want to downgrade your paid plan from 40 slots to 10 slots, you have to unpublish the pages and section to 10. This number will vary depending on the plan you choose.

### Common Cases (Tips & Best Practices)

#### When Should You Upgrade?

* Optimize Sales Funnels: Build high-performing home, product, and landing pages to reduce bounce rates and boost conversions.
* Enhance Branding: Create essential pages like:
  * Contact Us Page
  * About Us Page
  * FAQs Page
* Perform A/B Testing: Publish multiple versions of a page to identify the best design for conversions.
* Manage Multiple Products: Create personalized product pages for better audience targeting.

#### When Should You Downgrade?

* If you don’t need as many pages or saved sections, consider moving to a lower plan to save costs.

### Frequently Asked Questions

**1. Can I switch back to the old pricing plan after upgrading?** No, once you switch to the new pricing model, you cannot revert to the old plans.

**2. What happens if I downgrade to the Free Plan?** You’ll need to unpublish pages/sections until there’s only 1 slot remaining.

4. **Can I upgrade my plan anytime? Yes — your recurring charge updates automatically when you switch plans.**

**5. Will the slot price change depending on the page type?** No, all page types are counted equally as one slot.

### Version Update

The 5-tier pricing model (Free / Builder / Optimize / Accelerate / Power) replaces the previous slot-based model. Key changes:

* Plans are now differentiated by CRO modules and AI credits, not just slot count.
* Unlimited slots available from Accelerate ($99/mo) and above.
* All plans are monthly only — no annual toggle.
