What is Areviews – Product Reviews?
Areviews – Product Reviews is a powerful app designed to help Shopify store owners collect, display, and manage product reviews effectively. This app allows users to import reviews from platforms like AliExpress, Amazon, and eBay, enhancing product credibility and customer trust.
Integrating Areviews with PageFly allows you to seamlessly add product reviews to custom pages, combining PageFly’s flexibility with Areviews’ robust review features.
Install Areviews – Product Reviews element
To use this element, you must first install the Areviews Shopify app in your Shopify store and configure all of its options. Once you have done that, you can return to PageFly and use the element on any of your PageFly pages.

How to Access the Areviews ‑ Product Reviews Element
From PageFly Dashboard
In the PageFly dashboard, follow these steps to access Areviews ‑ Product Reviews element:
Step 1: In the PageFly dashboard, click Extra functions on the left menu.
Step 2: Click the Manage button on the right of the Integration.
Step 3: Search for Areviews ‑ Reviews Importer and hit Activate. Now the element will appear in the Third-party Elements menu.
From PageFly Editor
In page editor, follow these steps to access Reviews ‑ Product Reviews element:
- Step 1: In the PageFly editor, click Third-party elements on the left menu.
- Step 2: Click on the icon on top right of the Third-party elements tab.
- Step 3: Search for Reviews‑ Product Reviews and activate it.
- Step 4: Click Done and the element will appear in the Third-party elements menu.

How to Configure the Areviews – Product Reviews element
From PageFly
Step 1: Add Areviews – Product Reviews App Element
Before starting to set up for the Areviews – Product Reviews element, you will need to add this element onto your page canvas:
- Step 1: Click Third-party elements on the left menu bar
- Step 2: Look for Areviews element, under the Reviews & Rating section.
- Step 3: Click on the element to see its variant
- Step 4: Drag and drop the variant onto the page canvas
Step 2: Configure Areviews – Product Reviews Element
Choose the Areviews element you’ve added to the page canvas and navigate to the General/Styling tab for configurations:
- In the General tab, there is a widget configuration giving you a short explanation of the Areviews – Reviews app and its link to the app listing.

From Areviews – Product Reviews
Go to the Shopify Admin > Search for Areviews – Reviews Importer app using the search bar on the top and click on the app, which will direct you to the app homepage. Let’s start configuring the element:
Import Reviews
Step 1: From the app homepage, go to Reviews > Import Reviews.
Step 2: Scroll to your desired product. > Paste the product’s supported website URL > Click on the Import button.
Step 3: Configure review options:
- Max Reviews Number: Enter the number of comments to fetch, or choose to fetch comments randomly within a specified range.
- AliExpress Translation:Option to translate all comments to English (Note: This feature works only for AliExpress).
- By Images: Choose to fetch comments with images only.
- Select Countries:Enable countries filter to select reviews from specific countries.
Step 4: Click the Submit button to begin the import process.
Manage Reviews
Step 1: From the app homepage, go to Reviews > Manage Reviews.
Step 2: Click on the product you want to check reviews for > scroll down to Reviews Data.
Step 3: Check reviews of your product. For each review, you have these options:
- Pin Review:Click on the pin icon to pin a review. Pinned reviews typically appear at the top of the review list, making them more visible to visitors.
- Edit Review: Click on the pencil icon to edit the review. This allows you to change the text, star rating, or other details provided in the review.
- Translate Review: Click on the translation icon to translate the review. This feature is particularly useful for stores with an international customer base.
- Delete Review: Click on the trash icon to delete the review. This action is irreversible, so use it with caution.
Design Settings
From the app homepage, go to Design Settings > Design Options. Here you can customize how the reviews look on your live store.

| Reviews Themes: Choose a reviews theme, each with its own style settings. |  |

| Main Theme Color: Change the overall theme color. |  |
| Style Settings: Customize title style/color, rating icon style/size, review name & number color, flag style, full reviews section spaces, and spaces between sections. |  |

Review Widgets Not Matching Store Theme
Customize the review widget’s appearance in the Areviews app under Design Settings. Adjust colors, fonts, and styles to match your store’s theme. Ensure that these design settings are applied to the widgets used in your PageFly pages. You can further tweak the styling within the PageFly editor to achieve a cohesive look.
Reviews Not Displaying Properly on PageFly Pages
Ensure the Areviews element is correctly added to the PageFly page. Additionally, verify that the reviews have been approved and published in the Areviews app.
