Understand The Page List And Section List
Pages Configurations
In PageFly Pages, you will see a table listing every page you have created on PageFly. Six parameters are included in the table: the page title, the state of your page (published or unpublished), page type, the latest updated, the analytics indicator, and the eye icon, which allows you to view the page in preview mode
You can also tick the box before a page title to highlight and open Page Functions by clicking on the three dots, located on the right side of Page list to show more functions:
- View Analytics: Check the performance metrics of the page.
- Preview: See how the page looks.
- Duplicate: Make a copy of the page.
- Export: Export the page in .pagefly format
- Delete: Remove the page.
Sections Configurations
In PageFly Sections, there is also a table listing every section you have made on PageFly. In this table, you can view the section title, its published or unpublished status, how many pages that section has been used on, the latest updated, and the eye icon, which opens the page in preview mode
Similar as PageFly Pages, you can also highlight the section and open Section Functions by clicking on the three dots:
- Preview: See how the page looks.
- View page: See the page that section has been used on
- Duplicate: Make a copy of the section.
- Export: Export the section in .pagefly format
- Delete: Remove the section.
Step 3: Understand Search, Filter, And Sort
Search
The search function allows you to quickly locate specific pages or sections within the Pages or Section list. In the top right corner of the Pages or Sections list, click on Search button > Type the title or keyword related to the page or section you are looking for. The list will automatically filter to display the pages or sections that match your search keywords
Filter
With the Filter function, you may find the pages or sections based on the options we offer. There are now two options available for the Page filter: Type and Status, and there is just one option for the Sections filter: Status. You can follow those steps below to access Page or Section filter
- Step 1: In the Pages or Sections list > Click on Add filter button
- Step 2: Decide the kind of filter to use. You can filter by using one or both of these types: Type or Status. There are seven values in Type: Regular, Home, Product, Collection, Blog post, and Password and two values: Published or Unpublished under Status.
After selecting your desired filter criteria, the Page list or Section list will automatically update to show only the items that match your selected filter.
You can also save your filters for future use, simply select the desired filter settings > click on Save as button and enter the filter name
Sort
Another useful feature available is the ability to sort your pages and sections based on updated time or alphabetical order. This can help you better manage your pages.
