Through this article, you can learn how to export and import PageFly pages in JSON format so that the pages can be used in different stores.
You can easily export or import pages by clicking the “Export” or “Import” button on the PageFly app dashboard as per the screenshot below.
export
Export a single page
As shown in the figure below, click the 3 horizontal dots icon (icon name: More) on the right side of the page, and then select the “Export” option in the drop-down list.
A notification will appear on the page: Images used in the page will not be exported. You will need to download the images and then upload them individually on the destination page via the Image Manager tool.
Check “I know the picture will not be exported.” and click the “Export” button.
The BFCM Sale page in the image above will be exported as a “BFCM Sale.json” file.
export multiple pages
After selecting “Export”, an “Export Pages” box will appear with 4 options:
- All pages in your store
- All pages in this page type
- selected page
- – page match search (e.g. 10 page match search)
The page will display a notification: Images used in the page will not be exported. You need to download the images and then upload them individually on the destination page through the “Image Manager” tool.
Check ” I know the picture will not be exported .” and click the ” Export ” button.
Export all pages in your store
Selecting the “All Pages” option in the ” Export Pages ” box will export all pages created by PageFly.
All pages belonging to this page type
By selecting the “All pages in this page type” option, all pages in the current page list will be exported to your computer. For example, when you are in the regular page list interface, all regular pages displayed in the current list will be exported.
Export selected pages
You can selectively export pages by clicking on each page and then clicking the “Export” button.
page match search
You can search for certain keywords and export all pages listed in the search results. This option will display the number of results matching the search term.

import new page
You can import new pages as follows:
- In the list of pages, click the Import button.
- Select the JSON file you get after exporting the page.
Note that only valid JSON files are accepted.
3. The file name will be displayed here
Imported pages will keep the original page type and set to “Unpublished”
4. Check “I know I won’t export pictures”.
5. Click the Import button.
Import an existing page
You can import existing pages as follows:
- In the page list, select the target page you want to go to, click the 3 horizontal dots icon named “More” to the right of it, and select the “Import” option.
- Select the JSON file you get after exporting the page.
- Note that only valid JSON files are accepted.
3. Check “I know the image will not be exported”.
4. Click the Import button.
The imported page will overwrite the content of the target page.
Note: You cannot import multiple pages
After exporting multiple pages, the pages are all in one zip file that will be downloaded to your computer. If you want to import these pages into PageFly, you must unzip the zip file before importing each page individually.
