# Create ResourceHub articles with PageFly

Build ResourceHub articles in the PageFly editor. Start from ResourceHub, design the blog post with drag and drop or FlyMate AI, publish, and the post is attached to your resource automatically.

### What it does

[ResourceHub](https://apps.shopify.com/resourcehub?utm_source=pagefly\&utm_medium=web\&utm_campaign=resourcehub-integration-2026q4) is a Shopify app for building a searchable document library on your store: product manuals, spec sheets, CoAs, SDS and other files. Along with files, a ResourceHub resource can be an **Article**, which is a blog post on your store.

With the PageFly integration, you design that article in the PageFly editor instead of the plain Shopify blog editor:

* start from ResourceHub with **Create with PageFly**;
* build the post with drag and drop, or ask **FlyMate**, the PageFly AI assistant, to build it for you;
* publish, and you are taken back to ResourceHub with the post already attached to your resource.

The article is a real Shopify blog post, published on your own store domain.

### Before you start

**What you need:**

* **ResourceHub** installed on your Shopify store.
* **PageFly** installed on the same store.

If PageFly is not installed yet, ResourceHub shows an **Install PageFly - Free** pop-up when you click Create with PageFly. Install PageFly from there, then start again from ResourceHub.

### Create an article

1. In ResourceHub, click **Add resource**, choose **Article**, then **Create a new blog post**.
2. Click **Create with PageFly**. The PageFly editor opens on the right blog, with a **Started from ResourceHub** banner at the top.
3. Build the post with drag and drop, or describe what you want to FlyMate and let it build the sections. Add a title first if you want a clean URL (see Good to know).
4. Click **Publish**. PageFly publishes the post and takes you back to ResourceHub automatically. The post is attached and the resource is **Active**.

### Edit an article later

In ResourceHub, open the resource and click **Edit in PageFly**. The same blog post opens in the PageFly editor. Make your changes and publish again.

### Good to know

* **Add a title first for a clean URL.** The post URL is made from its title. A post without a title still publishes, and if the URL is already taken, a suffix is added automatically.
* **It is a real Shopify blog post.** It lives in your Shopify blog, on your own store domain, like any other post.
* **Blog posts follow your PageFly plan.** Building and publishing blog posts with PageFly works the same way as for any other PageFly page on your plan.

| An error when you publish | Give the post a title, or set its URL, then publish again. |
| You are not taken back to ResourceHub after publishing | Click **Go to ResourceHub** in the Started from ResourceHub banner at the top of the editor. |
| An Install PageFly - Free pop-up in ResourceHub | PageFly is not installed on this store yet. Install it, then click Create with PageFly again. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.pagefly.io/integrations/create-resourcehub-articles-with-pagefly.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
