About Product Compare at Price element
The Product Compare at Price element is designed to display the original price of your Shopify products on your page and it usually goes with the Product Price element to attract customers with a discount price to increase your conversion rate.
You can use the Product Compare at Price element to promote your products on any non-product page or use it on a product page. This element often can be used for holiday sales or simply when you want to offer a discount on the products in your store.
Note that you can search for this element by using the search function instead of finding it in the sidebar.
Product Compare at Price element comes with one common variation but we will continue to add more variations to help you save time.

Product Compare at Price element configuration
Product Compare at Price element comes with plenty of parameters allowing you to fine-tune content appearance for the best possible conversion rate.
Select the element in the layout to see its parameters.
When you drag and drop the Product Compare at Price element into the editor page. There are 2 choices of the Product Source for you to choose from such as:
- Custom Product
Note that if you are in the Product Page and use the Product Compare at Price element, then you can choose the Product Source option. However, if you are in the Regular Page and use this element, the Product Source option is disabled and the Custom Product chosen by default.
If you choose Auto, then the product that was assigned when you created this product page will be displayed in the page editor. The Auto option is the default when you use the Product Compare at Price element.
Let see how it works by dragging and dropping this element. In the example below, you can see the original for the White sneaker is $110, and the new sale price is $60.
One thing to remember is that the value in Compare at price must be higher than the value in Price to show a sale price.
